Filmmaking and cinematic production are complex, multifaceted endeavors requiring intricate synchronization between narrative scriptwriting, visual storyboarding, shot breakdown, audio atmosphere design, and logistical shoot scheduling. Traditional film workflows suffer from communication bottlenecks and slow iterative cycles.

We created CineAgent: Autonomous AI Script & Production Orchestrator — an Agentic AI system that transforms raw cinematic concepts into complete, industry-standard production packages powered by Google Gemini 3.5 and Google Cloud.

🚀 What It Does

CineAgent operates as an autonomous virtual film studio crew comprised of specialized agents:

  1. 🎭 Screenwriter Agent (Gemini 3.5 Pro): Generates structured, screenplay-formatted scenes (sluglines, action lines, character dialogue, emotional subtext) using standard industry Fountain/FinalDraft syntax.
  2. 🎨 Storyboard & Visual Director Agent: Analyzes script scenes to generate shot lists (angles, focal lengths, camera movement, lighting mood, color palettes).
  3. ⏱️ Continuity & Production Scheduler Agent: Automatically parses character appearances, scene locations, props, and day/night requirements to formulate an optimized shooting schedule.
  4. 🎼 Sound & Atmosphere Designer Agent: Formulates Foley cues, ambient audio layers, and dynamic musical score prompts aligned with scene dramatic arcs.

🛠️ How We Built It

  • LLM Reasoning: Built on Google Gemini 3.5 Pro and Gemini 3.5 Flash for high-context character retention, structured JSON outputs, and dramatic storytelling.
  • Backend & Cloud Architecture:
    • Google Cloud Run: Containerized FastAPI microservices delivering low-latency script synthesis.
    • Replit: Cloud developer environment integration for instant live collaboration.
    • Streamlit: Interactive studio dashboard with real-time scene generation and script PDF export.
