We were inspired to build an app that streamlined the collection of data in one place for urban planning, opening a nonpartisan communication line between local governments and residents with the intention of increasing civic participation and efficiency budget allocation, while also giving officials real-time verified insights what is important to the residents of their city.

We learned about the low rates of civic participation, and low rates of younger generations' civic participation because of outdated forums.

The teammate who managed the backend didn't show up today and we don't know how to answer how we built our project on the backend :).

^^ that is a challenge we faced. Another challenge we faced is too large a scope for our idea. There are also many features that are possible but we found it challenging to narrow down what we chose for the purpose of the presentation.
