Inspiration
Learning something new often feels overwhelming there’s so much information out there, but no clear structure on where to start or how to stay consistent. I wanted to solve that problem by creating a tool that gives learners a clear, step by step roadmap. That’s where Chronosi came in: an AI powered study companion that builds timelines for any skill or subject you want to master.
What it does
Chronosi takes in what you want to learn and automatically generates a personalized timeline with milestones and resources. Instead of feeling lost in endless tutorials, users get a structured plan they can actually follow breaking big goals into small, achievable steps.
How we built it
I built Chronosi using bolt.new and React.js for the front end, firebase for authentication, integrating AI to generate tailored timelines. The app is deployed on Vercel, giving it fast performance and an easy deployment workflow.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to make the AI’s suggestions feel practical and structured rather than vague. Another challenge was balancing simplicity with functionality making the interface clean while still giving users a helpful plan.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to make the AI’s suggestions feel practical and structured rather than vague. Another challenge was balancing simplicity with functionality making the interface clean while still giving users a helpful plan.
What we learned
Through building Chronosi, I learned how to better integrate AI into real world applications, how to optimize a React.js project for usability, and how important user experience is when it comes to productivity tools.
What's next for Chronosi
The next step is to expand Chronosi by integrating more resource types (like YouTube videos, courses, and articles), adding progress tracking, and letting users customize their timelines further. Eventually, I’d love for Chronosi to become a go-to companion for anyone learning something new.
