Inspiration

We were inspired to make an interactive and engaging by combining AI chatbots with a fun skill-based guessing game based by their response

What it does

Chronoracle allows you to chat with historical figures and deduce their identity through conversation, offering period selection, hints, and an encyclopedia for learning new things.

How we built it

We built Chronoracle using React and TypeScript for the frontend, Tailwind CSS for styling, OpenAI API for AI, and Supabase Edge Functions for secure backend API calls.

Challenges we ran into

challenges we ran into were: maintaining consistent character personas, OpenAI API key issues, and managing bugs.

We are proud of creating immersive conversations using ai, a seamless user experience, and effectively gamifying historical learning.

What we learned

Serverless architecture with Deno, effective prompt engineering, and practical UX design.

What's next for Chronoracle

Future plans include implementing full login authentication and leaderboards, expanding the character database, and including voice integration for a more realistc experience.
