Inspiration
The use of generative AI and theta blockchain inspired us to create a role playing story based game.
What it does
Chronicles of theta is a role playing story based game, where users interact with AI powered NPCs to indulge in unique and interesting storylines and explore endless possibilites. Some storylines include sending players to dungeon missions, where they can win rewards after defeating set number of zombie enemies. Our game also includes a gamified learning experience for web3 and non-web3 users, to get educated about web3, blockchain and the Theta network. The NPCs use generative AI to create interactive content about blockhains and how Theta is different from the rest of the blockchains, pratical knowledge is also given in the form of tutorial.
How we built it
We used React, pixi game engine, theta blockchain, gemini generative AI to create this game.
Challenges we ran into
Learning to build a game on react was a challenge but everything worked out.
