Inspiration
Our inspiration was from our teammate, Kamryn, since she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and had no-one around her she felt she could talk to that truly understood what she was going through.
What it does
Gives anyone who suffers from any chronic illness a place to ask questions, relate to others, or to just vent in a judgment free space.
How we built it
We utilized HTML, CSS, and AWS server.
Challenges we ran into
Learning multiple languages from little experience in such a short amount of time. Connecting all of our computers to a main access point.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The overall project is slightly functional and aesthetically pleasing.
What we learned
Deeper understanding of multiple coding languages and how to collaborate as a team with different coding backgrounds.
What's next for Chronically Connected
Create actual functionality of the site to create forums, profiles, reaching a broader audience and store user information.
