We were inspired by the challenges people with colour vision deficiencies can face when interacting with digital content. Colours are often used to communicate important information in images, documents, charts, and other visual materials. However, when certain colours are difficult to distinguish, understanding that information can become more challenging.

We wanted to explore how technology could make digital content more accessible without requiring users to change the original content themselves. This led us to build ChromaAssist, a web-based platform designed to help people with different types of colour vision deficiencies interact with visual content more comfortably.
