Inspiration

Juana puts “My inspiration behind my website was the holidays. When thinking of different ideas to create for the Hacky Winterland 2 hackathon; I thought about the events/things that make Christmas. Leading then, to my idea of creating a website that talks all about Christmas.”

What it does

Juana puts “My website is all about Christmas and bringing your spirit ready for the holidays. I write about Christmas music, tasty food, and things to do while including festive photos.

How we built it

Juana puts “I built my website using Velo by Wix. I used both the elements and section tabs for my website.”

Challenges we ran into

Juana puts “When starting my website it was challenging to decide where to place certain items. It takes patience to drag down and make sure all objects are placed orderly.”

Accomplishments that we're proud of

``Juana puts “I am proud of the final outcome of the website. It displays all the things I hoped to accomplish for the time being.”

What we learned

Juana puts “I learned that the placement of each object is important. Making a website accessible is another key factor that I had to keep in mind when creating my website. Overall, I had a fun time creating this website that both challenged and excited me.”

What's next for Christmas Spirit

Juana puts “I hope to continue making changes to my website. As of now, I will be sharing my website with my family and friends. This way they can use it for the following Christmas or any time of the year.”
