Inspiration
I listened to The Weekend a lot and this theme reminded me of him, so I decided to experiments around with my lyrics that I create to see if it would sound good.
How we built it
I used Sonic Pi to make the instrumentals of the song, which required me to learn a bit of the syntax and libraries. Also used the software, Lalas, to create the vocals of The weekend from the lyrics which I created on my own.
Challenges we ran into
Learning the syntax of Sonic Pi was the hardest as I have never used it before. Another challenge I faced was getting the Sonic Pi code to actually run since I kept on running into bugs.
What we learned
I learned about song production, and the many aspects that are required while making a song.
