Inspiration
I was inspired by my APCSA course and the way we were supposed to code a battle ship game from scratch. I decided that I should create another game in the Java language. And that game turned out to be 21, or as people call it, Blackjack.
What it does
The code is run and plays like a normal game of 21
How I built it
I started my code in a codespaces repository I made from scratch. Then, I created multiple classes and files to hold what was necessary to run the game properly
Challenges we ran into
A challenge I ran into was figuring out why one of my card classes wasn't able to be grabbed from my other files. Then, I realized I was missing parameters that was able to use the already created class from a different file. It took me approximately half an hour to fix that mistake
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm really just proud that I was able to make it work
What we learned
Java is fun
What's next for Christmas BlackJack
Uhm. Good Question. Maybe add some mechanics later down the line?
