Inspiration
The idea for ChoreSpace came from a moment I’m sure many of us can relate to: sitting on the couch, scrolling endlessly through social media, while the pile of dishes or laundry stares at me from across the room. It’s so easy to get distracted and let chores pile up. I started wondering—what if there was a way to make chores impossible to ignore, but in a way that’s fun and motivating?
I drew inspiration from video games, where mission markers guide players to their objectives. These markers are simple, visual, and impossible to miss. I thought, “Why not bring that same concept into real life to help with chores?” And that’s how ChoreSpace was born—a playful, interactive app I built to help people (myself included!) stay on top of tasks, build better habits, and actually enjoy getting things done.
