Inspiration
I'm a slob, so I forget when I last washed my jeans, or last cleaned the toilet. I wanted a friction-free reference for figuring out the date I last did something.
What it does
Tell Alexa when you last did a chore, e.g. "Alexa, tell Chore Tracker I washed the car today." Then several weeks, months, years, etc. later, you can ask, "Alexa, ask Chore Tracker when was the last time I washed the car." And Alexa will remind you that, "You last washed the car 2 years, 3 months ago, on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2015."

Challenges I ran into
Alexa doesn't perfectly parse your input phrases all the time, so recalling a chore name perfectly can be a challenge. I added the nlp-compromise package to my skill so that the skill can at least parse tenses of the chore passed.
Also, finding the time elapsed between two dates and formatting it is surprisingly non-trivial.
