Inspiration

Throughout highschool, we noticed that finding volunteer opportunities within our community was difficult. As a result, we strived to streamline this search for others.

What it does

Chore Matcher aims to match prospective volunteers with people within our community that need an extra hand.

How we built it

We built it with HTML and CSS to launch our idea as a website.

Challenges we ran into

We did not have the knowledge to create a database to store user information and location. We also didn't have enough time to put our idea into a more accessible form such as an app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to bring our idea to life. We hope that this is able to help our community and future high school students.

What we learned

We learned how to incorporate google maps into our website. In the future, we would like to implement Google's Geocoding API for more effective results.
