Inspiration I noticed, that Amazon is adding more languages to Alexa and I wont to explore it. I love to learn languages and Alexa skills are providing an another purpose for studying.

What it does The skill is providing a facts about California in English and Spanish.

How I built it I used a sampleskill-sample-nodejs-fact. I am a beginner, so i am starting from a simple skills and go to more complicated.

Challenges I ran into a problem, when i was making Spanish version. My knowledge of Spanish is very basic, I would say A1 level. For me it is a challenge. I do not consider myself a Polyglot, bu I am fluent in two languages and understand several more very well. For me Alexa skills are opportunity to learn more languages.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of. My Spanish part of the skill was rejected several times, but i am taking it as learning opportunity and vert happy that the skill is live.

What I learned. I learn how to create Spanish part and now continue with more languages.

What's next for California fats

Next will be a number of skills where Alexa interacts with user in diferent languages.
