Inspiration

Our inspiration was our love of chocolate and Valentine's Day (mainly chocolate).

What it does

In the game, the character runs after chocolate treats and collects them to give to his Valentine.

How I built it

We built this using GameMaker.

Challenges I ran into

We had trouble keeping the character from falling through the ground and having the character actually pick up the chocolate instead of running past it.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The pastel color background and getting the right movements from the character at the right time.

What I learned

We learned how to use GameMaker to create a child-friendly Valentine's Day game.

What's next for ChocoChase

Our future goals for ChocoChase include more obstacles for the player and have multiple levels that further challenges the player.
