Inspiration
We were inspired by other voice assistants that were great help with accessibility needs. However, we noticed that they weren't open source, so we decided to make our voice assistant that has code anyone can preview.
What it does
Chip can play music, answer your questions and much more! All you need to do is call Chip with its name. For example: "Chip, what time is it?"
How we built it
We built chip using Google's speech API to get efficient and quick speech transcriptions.
Challenges and Achievements
We were new to speech recognition, but after this project, we came out successful and plan to make many more projects with these technologies.
What's next for Chip
We would like to completely revamp the listening system and add other commands. Send us feedback in the comments for any commands you'd like to see!
