Aimed to capture the warmth and nostalgia of holiday music while combining it with a sleek, modern design inspired by Spotify. The challenge of delivering a responsive, visually appealing, and functional app within a limited timeframe fueled our creativity.

A Spotify-Inspired Music Player: Play your favorite festive tunes with intuitive controls for play, pause, skip, and volume. A progress bar lets you track the song's playback seamlessly. Interactive Lyrics Display: Enjoy dynamic, auto-scrolling lyrics synchronized with the music. Enhance your sing-along moments with an easy-to-read layout. Enchanting Winter-Themed Interface: Immerse yourself in a serene, animated snowfall background. A festive color palette and design bring the holiday spirit to life. Responsive Design: Access the app on any device, from desktops to smartphones, without compromising the user experience.

Challenges we ran into

What we learned
User Engagement: People love interactive elements during the holidays, such as custom greetings, festive music, and countdowns. Engaging features like these keep users coming back. UI/UX Design: Seasonal themes and colors (like red, green, gold, and snowflakes) add to the experience. Designing for holidays requires balancing fun aesthetics with usability.
What's next for ChimeTime
User Customization: Allow users to personalize alarms or notifications with their own sounds, songs, or messages. Integration with Calendar Apps: Sync chimeTime with users' calendars (Google, Outlook) for reminders about events or appointments. Voice Assistant Integration: Incorporate voice commands for setting or adjusting alarms, like with Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant.
