Chillzone

Chillzone is an cross-platform app built using react native. It uses google firebase login by phone number and has a chat screen. It also has a status page and call logs page.

Inspiration

I was inspired by whatsapp and tried to imitate it using services from google firebase.

What it does

It uses phone number to login securely using verification code. It has a chat screen, a status page and a call logs page.

How we built it

I used react native to build the app, and used react native firebase to implement firebase services.

Challenges we ran into

We used react animated to make a translational tab with great visual effects. It took us some time to plan the coordinates and how to give a rebound effect to the translating tab.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I made the app in just 1 day and that too in 6 hours. The translating tab has a real nice visual effect.
