Inspiration
All the NGO's present here are very inspiring as they striving hard to make someones life better. In particular Child as they strive hard to groom underprivileged children.
What it does
They provide holistic support for many needy childrens like medical, educational, skill development, nutrition support and vocational trainings.
They also support girl child for their holistic development and they try to create bonding beyond donation with love and care.
How we built it
We spoke extensively with the NGO to get their requirements right.
We prioritized them based on the importance
We went with an approach of creating restful api's for the requirements
We also created an android mobile app, so that they could go beyond desktop
Technology Used: server side : Node.js client side : bootstrap Database : MySql Mobile : Android
Challenges we ran into
- Getting the right requirements and prioritize them
- On deciding weather to do it from scratch or build on top of the existing frameworks
- Evaluated various frameworks like Joomla, Drupal and Word press
- Main challenge was deciding the contract between the front end and backend server
- Integration among the modules created a huge challenge
