ChiConnect

Inspiration

Took inspiration from eventbrite, luma, and other networking and event apps but added our own twist to the formula.

What it does

Connects Chicago youth to the resources they need.

How we built it

Built using cursor & lovable with a react, next.js framework. Made use of the devharuna json and shadcn as well as nativewind and tailwind css components from the Black Success CS Summmit starter kit for animations and live effects.

Challenges we ran into

Typescript bugs, used claude-sonnet 3.5 to debug errors and JS debugger on expo go (react native)
