Inspiration

We were inspired by the whimsical concept of merging chickens to create stronger units, combined with the excitement of strategy games, to craft a fun and engaging blockchain gaming experience.

What it does

Chicken Merge & War is a blockchain game where players merge chickens to build powerful units and engage in strategic battles against opponents. Players can collect unique chickens, develop their armies, and compete in thrilling farmyard warfare.

How we built it

We developed the game using Unity for the gameplay and integrated the AURORA blockchain to handle transactions and smart contracts. This allowed us to create a seamless experience for players in merging and battling their chickens.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered challenges in balancing the game mechanics to ensure fair play while maintaining engaging gameplay. Additionally, optimizing blockchain interactions for speed and cost-effectiveness was crucial.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully launched a playable prototype that features vibrant graphics, smooth merging mechanics, and blockchain integration. Players have responded positively during testing, enjoying the merging and battle dynamics.

What we learned

We learned valuable lessons about game design, especially in merging mechanics and player engagement. The integration of blockchain technology also taught us how to optimize transactions for a better user experience.

What's next for Chicken Merge & War Game with AURORA

Moving forward, we plan to introduce new chicken types, additional game modes, and community events. We also aim to enhance player engagement through tournaments and rewards, expanding the game's ecosystem.
