This game was inspired by the TikTok Challenge Trend "Guess The Country"

It allows you to play quiz games online with your friends using a game ID and also offline by yourself with multiple challenges including but not limited to Guess The Country, Guess The Logo, True or False questions. This game will be updated as time goes on.

I built this game solely on the Wix Editor using Velo by Wix's powerful APIs and elements which also allows customization using Javascript in the Wix Editor (ikr, sick stuff!).

The biggest challenge I ran into was my teammate quitting the former project (A Chess Game built on Wix) with about two weeks to go. I got inspired by the TikTok Trend and decided to build an online version of it for the Hackathon and ever since then, I have barely had any sleep.

I am very proud of the fact that I managed to build this game as a python first developer so fast using Javascript and that it works as well as I wanted it to and I'm also proud of the fact that my friends are enjoying it as well. I look forward to sharing it with more people.

I learnt that most people are wasting money and a tone of time building apps that could be built easily and quickly for a fraction of the cost on Wix. I just wanted to mention how mind blown I was when I used Wix's realtime api that runs with about 6 lines of code copied from the documentation, I just imagine what it would cost to build a real time communication on the web from scratch... definitely not in 6 lines of code.

I plan to promote Quiz Masters as the idea behind it was to challenge people to a fair game of quiz held online with a leaderboard system. My vision for this is to get TikTok creators to invite the followers who think they know it all to play against them or other creators following the same trend.
