Inspiration

Chemix AI was inspired by the idea of making chemistry education more interactive and accessible. Traditional periodic tables provide only static information, making it difficult for many students to fully understand chemical elements and their real-world applications. I wanted to create a free educational platform on Blogger that combines an interactive periodic table with AI-powered learning.

What it does

Chemix AI allows users to explore every chemical element through an interactive periodic table. The platform displays essential information such as atomic number, atomic mass, electron configuration, element category, and common uses.

The project is designed to integrate an AI Chemistry Assistant that can explain chemical elements in simple language, answer chemistry questions, generate quizzes, and provide educational laboratory safety guidance.

How I built it

  • Blogger
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • OpenAI GPT API (planned integration)

Challenges I ran into

Creating a lightweight, mobile-friendly educational platform on Blogger while planning AI-powered learning features was the biggest challenge. I focused on keeping the experience simple, fast, and accessible for students.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I built an interactive chemistry learning platform that makes exploring the periodic table easier and more engaging. The project demonstrates how AI can enhance science education through personalized explanations and interactive learning.

What I learned

This project helped me understand how AI can improve educational websites by providing natural language explanations, personalized learning, and interactive study tools.

What's next for Chemix AI
