  ChemistryMaker Website Introduction

Inspiration

I was inspired to create the idea for a chemistry package in python that could teach students and creators about chemistry while also being useful for chemists in industry.

What it does

The product would be a chemist python package that could perform reactions with accurate results for documentation while including additional features such as a pH tester, chemical structure generator, interactive periodic table, etc.

How we built it

I built the website for the project using wordpress, html/css, and javascript.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges that I ran into were that making the actual product was taking much longer than expected in python. Blender was also used for generating 3D models for an interactive chemistry lab built into the program.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud to submit a beginning to the chemistry project as a website.

What we learned

I learned how to use wordpress and Blender very rapidly for the progress of the project.

What's next for ChemistryMaker

The next steps for ChemistryMaker would be a adding each of the features and producing an interactive chemistry lab within the package that can be run using python.
