We wanted to make something that would be helpful, not just for us- but for other people. We thought about times that we needed chemical information, but pulling out our periodic tables from our bags was too inconvenient

When prompted, it returns chemical information such as charges, molar mass, etc.

We used Python on Replit

We've never used Python before, so we had to sort of self-teach ourselves, coming off of Java

We were actually able to make something workable, given 0 experience

We learned Python, and creating Discord bots

We may try to expand on the current bot to support more commands and functions
