Inspiration
When I was taking tests in chemistry class I noticed I was wasting a lot of time plugging numbers into a formula. I realized these types of problems were perfect for a computer to do. So I made this program so that it could take care of the formulas and I could focus more on the more important parts of chemistry.
What it does
This program was built to solve formulas in chemistry. Normally a student would spend a long time trying to figure out which numbers to use, only to get it wrong. My program streamlines this process to take this struggle away from these students.
What features does this program have?
This program can give you an overview of a specific element (symbol, atomic number, and number of protons, neutrons and electrons), calculate number of moles, find molar mass, and calculate percent yield of an experiment.

I built this using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
What's next for Chem Calculator
The next steps for this project would be to add more formulas so students can get even more use out of this program.
