This is like a community for all the food geeks It helps all the people all over the world to look for recipes and add them and explore different recipes of different cuisines and try them at your home

What it does

Chef's Kingdom is a place for all the people and cooks who can upload their new recipe of different cuisines and explore various other recipes as well. This is like a community for all the food geeks It is Recipe Blog Made using HTML,CSS,Bootstrap and served using nodeJs,ExpressJs and mongoDB Created a Recipe Blog using HTML, Bootstrap, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Mongoose, MongoDB All the layouts are made using Express-ejs-Layouts and CSS(Bootstrap) It provides the users to see different kinds of Recipes of different cuisines and surf different categories User can also provide feedback to the recipes, which will be stored in the MongoDB Users can also add their own recipe of different cuisines(Mexican,Indian etc..) to the home page and clear their doubts on FAQ page.

How we built it

It was built using HTML,CSS,BOOTSTRAP,NODEJS,EXPRESSJS,MONGODB,MONGOOSE It was initially run locally on my desktop at localhost:3090 But then it was deployed to the heroku URL for Heroku:https://aqueous-waters-46735.herokuapp.com/

Challenges we ran into

Deployment intitally was a problem as i need to connect to monog atlas from my monogdb Compass Making add recipes routes and making requests such as GET,POST was a problem but then we overcomed it with help of nodejs

What we learned

We learned how to make routes,delete routes,integrating web pages with backend and the database Adding the details to the database from the webpage and hosting it with the help of monogAtlas on heroku.

What's next for Chef's Kingdom

Chef's kingdom needs to be make bigger and bigger platform. so that it reaches a wider audience and and adding more features to it such as recommendation system so that users get recipes recommended to them which they like to eat using machine learning and deep learning.
