Inspiration

As a cheese enthusiast, I have always wanted to be able to track my favorite cheeses easily. This desire transformed into me building this tool.

What it does

This website uses an API to help search a cheese database that contains information on the cheese's taste, texture, and other important information. Eventually, this website will be able to hold profiles where individuals will be able to make a profile where they can save their favorite cheeses, add their comments, and browse new cheeses.

Challenges I ran into

Being able to find an API that contains cheese information was the hardest thing to look for. Eventually, I settled on an API that isn't the most organized.

What I learned

I learned a lot about HTML and CSS which I am excited to continue building on this website to be able to make it fully functioning for what I want it to do.

What's next for Cheesetopia

Next, I will need to make all of the components interactive and fix the design so it is more appealing.
