I just thought it would be an interesting project.
What it does
It talks to people who are really bored.
How I built it
I used deep learning and NLTK to get it to select an appropriate response from the training data.
Challenges I ran into
I couldn't find any good training data online.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I managed to get it to actually work.
What we learned
You need a lot of training data to build a somewhat functional chat bot, and you cannot make all the training data yourself.
What's next for Cheese Chatbot
I may try making it learn from conversations it listens to, but we've seen how that went: link
