Introduction

Breast cancer is one of the common cancer is women. Creating awareness and some systematic preventive measures can help us survive it. So, I developed this application CheckMe which helps us to know about preventive measures and take up monthly self check-ups for breast cancer symptoms.

Purpose & Motivation

Internet is ocean of information and sometimes information that is not simple or reliable about breast cancer may cause confusion and anxiety in us. So, I thought of making an app which helps us to check symptoms, preventive measures and self examine method easier.

How this application works

My application prototype has 4 features: 1.Precautions:- This shows information about the precautions we need to take to prevent breast cancer. 2.CheckMe :- This feature has checklist of symptoms for breast cancer and based on the the number of symptoms on has it either suggest you to visit doctor and book remainder for next self examine session. 3.Remainder:- After every self-check, we will be asked to choose next date for self examination of breasts and on that particular day remainder will be as notification. 4.Self Examine:- This feature tells us methods to self examine breasts to check for lumps or other symptoms.

How this application was developed

I built this prototypic mobile app using Marvel.

How to use this application

CheckMe is mobile application, so one can install them in mobile phone and choose the feature they want to use and know about precautions, symptoms, self examination methods and set remainders.

Difficulties & Challenges you faced

I have never developed any prototypes using Marvel before, so it became difficult in initial stages to use the software.

Go-to-Market Evaluation

Once a full fledged mobile application is developed, we can make it available on play store and app store. Everyone can download it from there and use it.
