Inspiration

The present global crisis was the main trigger behind this thought. Given the second wave of COVID 19 cases are on the rise and fall season is upcoming, it is extremely essential to maintain social distancing in public

What it does

It enables users to find their favourite places , like restaurants, salons, parking spaces, etc. on Google Maps, and find the merchants registerd with this app.

Customer can find the queue in the merchant's establishment in real time.

If there is lesser than maximum no. of admissionable customers in the entity, customer can check in and that will get updated in the queue for the merchant to track

It also helps the merchant to track and streamline customer foot-fall synchronously and in real time

How I built it

I used complete M(MongoDB) E(Express framework of ) NodeJs along with ReactJs library for client end

Challenges I ran into

-Majority of the challenge was to incorporate two separate flows of sessions ( one for user and another for merchant)

Even these two ports need to communicate with each other. Building this error freely was a task -Including Google Maps, Places and AutoComplete was a steep learning curve in last 24 hours

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am mostly proud of delivering a logical error free and complete project in less than 48 hours
I am also proud to be able to learn to handle so many of the google api endpoints in short time
Also , I have tried to follow REST principles as much as possible
