Inspiration
The Inspiration for the check-in system application starts from seeing people taking too much time checking during the event of ub-hacking and other events.
What it does
It allows the employee or guests to check-in/out from work or event in multiple ways. And ensures the boss or event manager receives notifications by email. Users can use it by clicking the sign-in or sign-out button. They also have the option of facial recognition, signing in with accounts, or using a card swipe.
How we built it
We built this by reading the document of docker, bootstrap 3, HTML/CSS, js, python, stripe card reader, pymongo, face_recognition_models,datetime ,smtplib, Flask, and all imported API.
Challenges we ran into
The challenge we ran into was debugging the API import for the front-end and back-end of the server.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The accomplishments that we're proud of are abling to learn the API and being able to debug.
What we learned
We learned JS, HTML/CSS, API that we imported, and the debugging skills of python.
What's next for Check In System Application
The next thing we are planning to do is to have an NFC card reader working with our product, deployment, and backup server with docker.
