Inspiration
So, we book flights quite often but the flight rates are quite expensive & high-priced. so to overcome this problem and let each individual book flights casually, we created a website named "SkyPass".
What it does
Initially the user should enter the mobile no., Origin(from), Destination(to) & the budget. It'll save the data and generate a message on your number once the budget gets matched with the flight rates.
How we built it
Python Programming is used for backend. Google Sheets for storing the user data. we've used 3 API's : Sheety API used for reading & writing inputs from Google sheets. Tequilla API from kiwi used for getting the lowest prices of flights and Twilio API for sending SMS. Html,Css and Bootstrap is used in the front end.
Challenges we ran into
Since Twilio coupon code is not available to redeem, more than one no. cannot be verified.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we coded, debugged and designed an amazing webpage to solve this problem. working straight for multiple hours and being dedicated to our project is what we're proud of.
What we learned
we learnt how to connect 3 Api's in a single project. Also we learned team building and leadership skills.
What's next for SkyPass
If we get funds, we could get Twilio subscription, add more features and aspire to make this web app available to everyone.
