Inspiration

Growing up in the days of BBS chat rooms, IRC, and seeing the rise and fall of popular chat applications, Alexa and this DevPost challenged has spurned the desire to bring something new back to the old.

What it does

Chatline allows users to converse anonymously with strangers behind the voice of Alexa.

How I built it

Using Alexa services (node.js, dynamoDB)

Challenges I ran into

Alexa conversation interpretations - not always accurate, but that makes it kind of funny/interesting conversation. Testing is also a bit of a challenge as it requires 2 individuals with alexas.
