ChatGPT Fooled Me: a 3-part miniseries

In this project I put to the test three areas that define me: My screenwriter side, turning a real chat into a structured script. My skills as an actor, stepping in front of the camera to embody the frustration and humor of the situation. My experience in AI filmmaking, using audiovisual generation tools to build a hybrid narrative between reality and fiction.

The challenge was to adapt an improvised dialogue (the chat) into an audiovisual narrative format. That meant: • Selecting and structuring conversations to give them a dramatic arc. • Enhancing certain elements to push them into comedy, exaggerating everyday situations. • Introducing visual and narrative devices, like creating a ChatGPT avatar that gave the AI a “face” and turned it into an active character.

The result is a piece that blends outreach and humor, with technology as its backdrop and comedy as the vehicle to bring it closer to the audience.

This format especially interests me: the chance to explain and reflect on artificial intelligence from an accessible, humorous angle—without losing scientific rigor. I believe there’s fertile ground there: telling stories about technology with the very tools of technology.

Don't miss the other two parts!!
