ChatGPT AI/ Chat room

Inspiration

We wanted to create something along the lines of the OleHacks mission for DEU. From there we came up with a chat room that would be able to include anyone based on any language!

What it does

Our chat room does not integrate the AI we were able to produce due to the security reasons behind the newly made API, but it would take any language input text and translate it to any language based on the receiving user.

How we built it

We used Javascript, react for the chat room, and Javascript and the recently released API from OpenAI

Challenges we ran into

Because the OpenAI API is so new so there were no help links to look at online, as well as the security features of the API made it impossible to integrate our code with the API. However, we were able to show the capabilities of the AI and where this would take off in the future!
