Inspiration
Throughout the school year I saw a lack of a proper way of communicating with our club. We used emails as our way of communicating, however multiple people, including myself, forgot to check our emails or simply overlooked the ones we received.
How it works
With a specific password, teachers, club presidents, staff, etc would be able to create chat rooms, in which they would be set owner and admin. Then other people could join this room and communicate with one another, with the owner and promoted admins having administration features on the other users.
Challenges I ran into
How to receive the messages without causing lag, as I don't know of any way of streaming data to app inventor, and constantly re-downloading the messages would be quite heavy on the bandwidth.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Getting it working... it's decently long, so I'm surprised I was able to keep it organized and make it function.
