Inspiration
Most chatbots are boring. Often, they feel alien and inhuman. Our team wanted to explore to see explore how AI and sentiment analysis to improve this experience.
What it does
This chatbot uses sentiment analysis to get the gist of the users inputs and replies accordingly
How we built it
We used React.JS to build the backend and HTML and CSS to create an aesthetic
Challenges we ran into
We ran into plenty of challenges. Initially we wanted to create our own model in Tensorflow however we switched to using Monkey Learn and React Chat Bot Kit API's.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the friends we made along the way and completing a project we are proud of! :)
What we learned
We learned that anything can be achieved with teamwork and perseverance :) Also that back up plans are Important
What's next for Fren-On-A-Phone
We hope that future chatbots become much more user friendly and apply sentiment analysis to interact with users in a friendlier way.
