ChatBOT

Inspiration

Due to the current Hackathon our team was mainly interested in AI and we wanted to get in touch with this topic

What it does

It is a sympathic chatbot that provides several useful information based on data of SBB. It is made for good user-interaction

How we built it

we started from scratch by programming it with JS, HTML and CSS. Afterwards we had SCRUM-like innovation for each new feature

Challenges we ran into

at first we wanted to use one of the several frameworks for a chatbot but in summary there were disadvantages at every evaluated framework so that we started the project from zero at Saturday. Maybe we underestimated the complexity of AI but it was much fun at all

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we made almost every decision as a team and everybody worked really hard during the whole (sleepless) weekend.

What we learned

AI is a real complex topic and to create first applications using it, is not that easy without any practical experience. Also teamwork, communication and management of different task is really important especially if there is time pressure

What's next for ChatBOT

We decided to improve the bot and add some additional features
