Inspiration

Many small online sellers in India run their businesses through WhatsApp chats, Instagram DMs, screenshots, and handwritten notes. They often manage orders manually, which creates confusion around inventory, payments, follow-ups, and shipping.

We noticed that a single customer chat can contain all the information needed to run a sale, but sellers still have to copy that information into multiple tools manually. That inspired us to build Chat2Order — a system that turns messy customer conversations into a complete mini-commerce workflow.

What it does

Chat2Order transforms customer chats, screenshots, and notes into structured business operations. A seller can paste a customer conversation or upload a screenshot, and the app automatically extracts:

product details quantity customer address payment status order information

From that single input, the system creates:

order records inventory updates invoice drafts follow-up reminders sales dashboard insights

This helps small sellers save time and avoid manual errors.

How we built it

We built Chat2Order using MeDo as the full-stack workflow platform. The application combines:

AI-powered text extraction from customer chats OCR for screenshot parsing workflow automation for order creation inventory management system dashboard for tracking sales and repeat buyers

The core idea is simple:

Chat / Screenshot → AI Parsing → Structured Order → Business Workflow

The app detects key details from natural conversations and converts them into structured records automatically.
