Chat Application

Inspiration:

I made this project because I wanted to explore Java and its networking aspect

What it does

The app establishes the connection between the clients and the server locally and allows the multiple clients to chat with each other through a single server.

How we built it

We used Socket.io, Java GUI, Swing component library, JFrame and various other Java components.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was to set up the GUI window but we conquered it.

Our first major Java project

We learned the basic aspects of networking, explored Java GUI and various other Java components.

What's next for Chat Application

We will try connect it to back end and host it live.
