Sticky Footer with AI Chat

Plus, there's a fun AI Chat feature where visitors can message me directly—and a cute mochi character I designed using Spline, whose eyes follow your cursor around the screen!

How we built it

I used ReactJS for the interactive components, HTML/CSS for styling, and Spline to create the 3D mochi character. For smooth animations and hover effects, I integrated the Framer Motion library. The site is deployed using Git and Cloudflare, and runs on a custom domain for a complete professional touch.

Challenges we ran into

One of the trickiest parts was building the AI chat functionality—specifically managing automated responses using React Hooks. Another challenge was the falling sakura animation in the background. I had to fine-tune the animation rate, opacity, and layering to make sure it added charm without distracting from the main content. It took time, but the end result was worth it!
