Inspiration
We were inspired by the Philanthropy Category.
What it does
Everytime a user searches for a cherry, donations are made to a charity. Additionally, the user can add the cherry items displayed.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the website. Additionally, we used an API from the US Department of Agriculture for displaying types of food relating to a key term.
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult to finish our project within the time limits. Furthermore, it was difficult learning how to use a new API.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of being able to learn how to use new tools such as a new API.

What's next for ChariTracker
We will continue to work on adding more features and cleaning up the front-end design of our website.
