Inspiration
- Help the people share latest charging information in public charging stations
- A time-management penalty and reward system to motivate people move vehicle after sufficient charging
What it does
- A reasonable time-management penalty system
- A easy use charging prototype design.
How we built it
- Data analysis using python, Matlab.
- Customised notification system on survey in the app intro tutorial
- Prototype
Challenges we ran into
- Lack of much driving data for regular users for user portrait
- Information on current public charging stations
- Information on average charging time for PHEV and BEV vehicles
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- A time-management penalty system for fee.
- A easy to use prototype for users to find space and move asap
- A customised notification message based on the user survey in the app welcome page
What we learned
- Data Analysis using different programming methods.
- Data Analysis based on limited user data
What's next for Charging easy
- A more concrete penalty and rewarding fee system based on more user investigation, real driving data and vehicle types.
- Connect the public charging station data for backend recommendation and reservation function.
