. About the Project

MIDDLE TECHNOLOGY was born out of a passion to bridge the digital gap in underserved communities, especially in government institutions, small businesses, and educational sectors across Taraba State, Nigeria. The goal was clear: to provide high-quality graphic design, web development, and digital training services that empower organizations to operate more efficiently and connect with their audiences in a modern way.

.What Inspired Me

Growing up in a region where digital literacy was low and businesses struggled with branding and online presence, I saw a clear opportunity to make a difference. The desire to solve real-world problems with technology and design is what sparked the idea for MIDDLE TECHNOLOGY. I wanted to give local institutions access to the tools and skills they need to thrive in a digital-first world.

.What I Learned

Building this project has taught me:

The importance of understanding client needs before jumping into design.

How to communicate complex digital concepts in simple ways during training sessions.

That sustainable impact comes from empowering people, not just building tools.

Project management and customer service skills are just as vital as technical ones.

. How I Built It

The journey started with a single laptop, a few design tools, and a big vision. I registered the business, built partnerships with local schools and businesses, and began offering training and digital services. The project evolved through:

Developing branding and websites for clients using tools like Figma, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Offering in-person and virtual training sessions on digital skills, from basic computer use to social media marketing.

Collaborating with local organizations to reach more people and scale impact.

. Challenges I Faced

Limited Resources: With no initial funding, I had to bootstrap the project using personal savings.

Connectivity Issues: Unstable internet and power supply sometimes slowed down work and training.

Skepticism: Convincing traditional businesses and institutions to embrace digital solutions was not easy at first.

Scaling: As demand grew, it became a challenge to meet expectations without a larger team.

MIDDLE TECHNOLOGY continues to grow, fueled by the belief that innovation and empowerment can come from anywhere.
