-Advanced robots using OpenCV for machine vision

What it does

-simulates a game with user hand gesture input from camera

How we built it

-Game development in Unity with C# -Computer vision with python and OpenCV -Communication between the two with socket

Challenges we ran into

-Trouble connecting between OpenCV and unity -trouble with compatibility between API's and operating systems

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-The ability to control a simulation from real user hand pose with our camera as the only input

What we learned

-We learned to use the OpenCV library and to work together in groups on software projects

What's next for Interactive Intergalactic Space Battle

-We plan to move past the game application of computer vision and focus on more impactful applications such as different ways for user input and different means for human computer interaction using OpenCV
