Chandu's Pizza

Inspiration

One of my dearest friends named Chandu loves pizza. But she doesn't have preference of any specific taste. Instead it she likes when all flavors are well balanced and nothing is too overpowering.

What it does

This is a questionnaire based game. Every ingredient in every question has a hidden taste factor value for spice, bitterness, sweet and tangy. By user's own ingredient knowledge, players have to choose wisely and cook the most balanced pizza.

How we built it

Using the following Devvit Public API:-

• Devvit-Blocks
• Devvit-Kit

Challenges we ran into

• Developing the UI was quite difficult. Since there aren't much flexibility in Devvit-Blocks components. No way to disable the dark-mode implementation.

What we learned

*It was the first time I used Redis as a database. *This was my first Devvit App, it's features were really developer-friendly.

What's next for Chandu's Pizza

Right now it's lacking animations and graphics. Also its not responsive for mobile view. I also wished for some audio API, but Devvit-Blocks is lacking it right now.
