Inspiration

We were creatives or knew creatives who loved long-form content. We often heard stories that turning those same long-form content into short-form attention grabbing content was time consuming. Many times, these creators would wished to have spent making new content. Hence, we came across Chameleon.

What is Chameleon

Chameleon turns any long piece into ready-to-post content on X and LinkedIn from hours to under two minutes.

How did we build the project

1. Started with a mindset of one core feature
2. Began aligning as a team on what the core backend will become
3. We decided P0 vs. P1 features
4. We started executing.
5. We checked back in often.

What were the challenges

Platform time limits, preserving context after cuts, deployment of an agent, fast video processing in serverless functions, and keeping each creator’s unique voice.

What we learned

Prompt engineering took a lot more experimentation than we expected. Deploying also should be done more often than not.

What's next for Chameleon

One-click auto-posting, tiktok and instagram video clipper, and post scheduler.
