Inspiration
For this project we wanted to challenge ourselves and build a program that helps the environment and people, by working out a way to increase the use of renewable energy whilst minimising the cost of energy for customers. This also means that people are more incentivised to be more environmentally friendly, as it means that not only it doesn't dent their wallet, it even saves money. This is especially useful for people struggling financially, before optimised solar energy it would've costed money to save the environment which some people can't afford.
What it does
The result of our program is a few outputs to show the most optimised battery. The outputs to do with cost to customer is the total cost after them using solar energy, the cost before them using solar energy, and the difference, showing that customers can save money by using solar energy. The next is the percentage of energy that is renewable, which shows that affordable energy can be renewable
