Inspiration

We, Chakshu Mandawara, got inspired watching sci-fi movies, dreaming of coding that feels like a space launch. The tilted 3D rocket with "CM" was our way to stand out, a personal stamp. FlowSphere hit us while juggling remote work audio chaos—we wondered, “Can AI save the day?” That spark fueled this galactic journey.

What it does

Chakshu’s Orbit Odyssey" is our stunning portfolio showcasing our coding skills. It features a 3D rocket orbiting a planet, a chatbot guiding visitors, and projects like FlowSphere (an AI tool turning audio into tasks for remote users) and a drag-drop To-Do List, all wrapped in a galaxy theme to inspire and connect.

How we built it

With Lovable as our trusty partner, we crafted a dark galaxy backdrop and tamed a tilted 3D rocket with Three.js, adding "CM." FlowSphere started as an audio prototype with Web Speech API, while the To-Do List got drag-drop flair with JavaScript. We coded a responsive chatbot, a holographic form with mailto, and galaxy confetti with Confetti.js, testing it across devices.

Challenges we ran into

We hit rough patches! The rocket’s "CM" fought us with Three.js glitches, taking hours to fix. FlowSphere’s AI dreams stalled—our beginner skills left it a mockup, and we felt stuck. Balancing cool parallax effects with a reliable form was a wild juggling act, testing our patience late into the night.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re thrilled with our 3D rocket finally shining with "CM"! The galaxy design and chatbot feel like our creative wins, while making it accessible with alt text and keyboard navigation makes us proud. Seeing FlowSphere’s audio idea take shape, even as a prototype, boosts our confidence for future builds.

What we learned

We grew so much! JavaScript animations became our victory dance, and Three.js taught us grit. Exploring Web Speech API opened AI’s world, while accessibility showed us coding’s heart. Every bug we squashed, like form reliability, built our problem-solving muscles—we’re ready for more!
